This project was not a typical dock repair as Kostmayer had the added pressure of keeping five high-producing industrial facilities running because these plants required 14,000 gallons of water pumped per minute and a constant operating pressure of 50-75 psi to run. Any failures in the pumps would cost these plants millions of dollars a day.
